Let me tell you a story… this is who I am.

Hey!
Thanks for dropping by. I’ve changed by blog address so in case you were wondering, yeah, this is still me…  Why this is my blog address? Well, I speak… but people hardly hear me. Things have changed slightly since I named my blog this but I’m still keeping the name because some people know it by this address and just in case they decide to come back, I wouldn’t be gone.
I was 15 when I started this blog but right now, I’m 20 (That’s five years). I come from the underrated tear drop shaped island lying in South East Asia, Sri Lanka. My first inspiration of writing comes from my grandfather when he asked me to take a diary with me when I went on long trips. Not knowing why, I did as he asked and that was when I found my passion. I write when I’m bored, I write when I’m confused, I write when I’m happy and I write when I’m sad… I post only a very few here for reasons that I cannot explain myself.
I’m quite a boring person. I like staring at the stars and spending time alone thinking things inside my head. I’m a dreamer, I’m a writer and if you may allow me to, I can be an interesting person. There’s hardly anyone who knows me well who doesn’t call me weird… but my reasons for being so are those that linger between the known and the unknown.
What interests me the most is people, life and everything in between. If you have already read a few of my posts you’d be able to see how much they affect me. Being betrayed, new hopes and priceless expressions on peoples faces: that’s what I write about. Right now I’m in Georgia (the country, not the state!) and I miss home now more than I ever thought I would. I find writing as a means to escape.
To start posting what I write, I owe most of my thanks to Emily Adams. She was the one who asked me to start this, to let others see what I write. If at all anyone appreciates my writing, I owe it to her.
So, I hope you enjoy what I’ve written…  and make sure you leave a comment or two just so that I know you like it or you don’t. Enjoy.

A girl hardly heard.

    You know what????
I felt like I wrote this myself. I’m 16, too and I was never heard before either. When I said I could write, people told me that I’d gone mad. But well…I successfully made a blog…and so many wonderful people like yourselves followed me.
Thanks for the follow…and your blog is superb.
    I ❤ it.

WOW. You’re 16? At first I thought you to be somewhat like 18, then I thought you were someone who was older and working maybe (Don’t ask me why)… Thank you for the likes!

You know what? Im 15 and a half. I’ll be 16 in april. And you are telling me why you thought I was working. I know about the earth’s geography more than most people and I know about Sri lanka, its beneath India.
        🙂

haha, that sure is a lot of good thoughts… Do drop by anytime you want and comment of course… it’s not like there’s anyone to spam me with comments 🙂 I’ll keep checking your wonderful blog as well. I thought you were older because of one of your posts where you said you had a good job or something like that.

I are here. I am listening. And I hear you. You may like monochrome but you write in technicolour. Your writing is ever improving. Keep writing. Keep writing and never stop. Make your words extraordinary.

Thank you so much! Words like these are what keep me going. I was taught that someone would always laugh at me, but I was more importantly taught that someone would always be appreciating the little things I do. I guess you’re one of them. I don’t want to stop because I know there are still people I can make smile, people who care. I’ll take your words seriously. Writing is something I’ll never stop doing – I’ve come to understand that, and the fact that you acknowledge it makes my day. Thank you once again, and do come back! 🙂

During one of my usual scouting expeditions i stumbled across your work and i think it is fantastic and it would be great if it could be featured on our website: http://www.radicalchicmagazine.com.

Thank you very much for considering me to write for this magazine.
I took a look at the website and noticed that this is aimed at audiences between the age of 18 and 30. Since I’m still 17 (I’m about to pursue higher education) I think I’m not ready to write content that suits the specified age of the target readers.
Once again, I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity and I would like to consider writing for it next year if the offer still stands.
      Thank You,
      Zulaiha
